…Williams creates an alluring mystery: The story opens with the murder before flashing back several weeks to Isabelle’s discovery. While the victim is known, the killer could be any number of suspects—even Isabelle. The couple’s periodic online chats are sometimes droll, especially with Scott unaware that Maggie is his wife. These furthermore make him increasingly unlikable, as his conversations are akin to an inexperienced adolescent’s chats. But Isabelle is an appealing protagonist, and the story aptly showcases the complexities of unfaithfulness in the virtual world…

This naughty book is not your typical whodunnit. Masterly written E-Vengeance is not only a mystery and a fun read, it is shocking in a highly imaginative way. In reading this book, I encountered raw sex on the web and questioned at what point is this a betrayal of a marriage. E-Vengerance is inventive. The author had me fascinated, riveted page by page. Well done.

E Vengence grabbed me from the first word to the last. Williams’ creative mystery, with a touch of naughty, was a fun read and kept me wondering who-done-it ‘til almost the very end – and then actually ended with a bang! William’s brings the digital age to the fore and makes the reader contemplate infidelity – what actually is it in this tech world? Don’t miss it.

I am not a fast reader, but E-Vengence had me at the get-go and I read this book non-stop until the end. It’s a murder mystery plus I learned a lot about sex in chat rooms on the internet. A real shocker, but I was riveted…
Well written with plenty of descriptions (GULP) a page turner….

Sexting subject interesting to say the least. This mystery was interesting to try to solve before reading. I didn’t think of what an addiction sexting could become and how it could break up a marriage.

Isabelle printed out their “chat.” She read the hard copy before placing it in the “Adventure” file with the other evidence of Scott’s unfaithfulness. Her hands trembled as she relived the online conversation. Maggie could be flippant and clever, but Isabelle’s heart was filled with anguish.
How could he give a complete stranger so much private information? He told Maggie where his wife worked. For Christ sake, he gave her his telephone number at work on their first chat. Undoubtedly an invitation for phone sex. Was nothing too personal for Scott to send into cyberspace?
Isabelle had to get her emotions under control. Scott would be home in a little while. She wasn’t ready to confront him just yet. But how could she let him touch her, kiss her, and make love to her, knowing what she did? Her newfound double life was one life too many.
