Who I Am

Author

Since retirement, Patricia Williams has completed the Stanford University Certificate Program in Fiction Writing. She has published two novels. Her debut novel, “The Two Weddings of Zhao Ping” was inspired while teaching at the University of Beijing. Her most recent publication, a mystery entitled  E-Vengeance, addresses the issue of “sexting” in today’s society. Her third novel, a romance set in Paris will be published in 2021. Her short story, “A Slippery Slope”, won first place in the Florida Writers Group Creative Writing Competition.

Blogger

As a tenured professor of accounting at Fordham University, Dr. Williams published approximately 20 articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, including The Accounting Review  and The Journal of Investing.  Since retirement, Williams has taught courses on money management for the Brandeis University Alumni Association, has written financial articles for two local community papers and blogs monthly on her website profpat.com. The website is designed to provide financial guidance for women in or near retirement.
